So I have commented on a few different things but I guess I tried to take a back seat on everything until I thought it through. The seems to be a lot of snap judgements about getting Mourinho out or blinding following him and neither of those options helps. So here are my thoughts.

I do believe Mourinho is one of the best, if not the best managers in the world. He has shown how he can adapt to different countries and leagues, different players and systems. He has done it over and over. I also don't believe there is anyone else out there who I would want more.

I do have a couple of problems though. Everything is not right. The way Costa and Hazard came back this season, the way Mourinho seems to have been taken in by his own ego a bit. What I mean by that is, whether he believes it or realises he is doing it, I get the sense that he believes he is bigger than the club; the way he is acting etc.

He has refused to take any cristism, he refuses to change the system. We have small quick talented creative players. They need to be allowed to express themselves. I read a post before about all the players we have sold in the last few seasons and how they are doing - do bruyne, mate, lukaku. They didn't fit into his system, he believes his system is best and in a way I agree. But I also believe that if you don't adapt, you get left behind. He is playing the same tactics he has used essential for the last 10 years and he refuses to adapt or change. This is where my problem lies. I honestly wish I could sit down with him and ask for straight answers. Why does he persist with ivanovic at rb and our best rb at lb, throwing off the balance of the team, why does he not allow our creative players to be more expressive. We have played boring football from last Xmas, and I know someone is going to say that no-one complained when we were winning the league but at that time boring football got us over the line so it was easier to stomach. Now we are playing dreadful boring football (what other team would shut up shop with over 80 mins to go against Liverpool at home. I'm not saying throw everything forward, just assert a bit of dominance. Show why we are champions. It was stupid to do that and we deserved to get beat. We can also moan about the ref but I wish more people would come out and accept that on that day, and too many days this season, our team was not good enough and our manager was not good Enough) .

So I rambled but I'll get to the point. I believe Mourinho could well get sacked. This is simply because he will not change the way he sets the team up to play, he will not adapt. He will not play to our strengths. His behaviour has gone too far and is damaging the football club. I want to get behind him but it's insane to watch him make the same choices, mistakes, and expect different outcomes. I really do hope he will change things and adapt because he is the best but I'm afraid he is stuck, whether it be his ego or pride, nothing will change and he will go.

Just my thoughts, don't be too harsh on me with what I have said. See who agrees and who doesn't. How do we get out of this mess. Hopefully it becomes clearer over the next week.

I totally agree with most of what your saying I would just like to no who's the ones causing the problems behind the scenes and it's no coincidence everything started to go bad to worse with the Eva incident, weather the players thought he was wrong in the way he went off hazard seems to be the name that's getting thrown about as the one who playing up (rumours) yet he was the one she ran on for is he upset the way she was treated 'I don't know'. But again like you said I can't keep backing him as much as I love the bloke when he keeps playing ivanovic Cahill and terry together are best rb at lb. A interviewer said it correctly the other day it's ok Jose saying I know we will turn it around and am the right man and the players are really trying every day in games and training but nothing is changing getting worse if anything SO how long do you give someone to change things round? Roman is standing by him now because any other manager would of been gone. #thespecial1#.

@Goergebest - either its language problem or otherwise, how can you say his the best manager and then say he has failed to adopt and plays defensive/boring football, I find it contradictory.

For me I have always said it Jose is not kind of manager to develop an appealing brand/football club. He is short term kind of manager. A manager with a future in mind does not buy 25+yrs most of the time. Also you need very good PR to build a brand. You may say am pestimistic but champions league next season is very much in doubt.

He has no record in developing kids that's why I find it funny when some of you talk about RCL and rest succeeding under Jose, though I think the 3 player we have in RLC, Kennedy and Traore are hugely talented and with right coaching and gudance could be world beaters (not under Jose) .

Jose has played a variety of different formations of the years. Also I struggle with the idea that JM has played this exact same style of football for the last 10 years. We certainly weren't playing this way at the start of last season, we didn't play this way in his first spell here and he didn't play this way at Madrid as far as I'm aware. Also I doubt JM instructed the team to try and defend a 1-0 lead with 80 mins to go.

I believe that JM reverted to boring football after the spuds defeat last season, not because we lost but because players were already dropping off form/suspensions. The reason he has persisted with Azpi at LB was/is because he provided greater security which allowed Hazard more freedom. Luis last year and Rahman haven't yet showed they're defensively solid enough to start. Which leads to Ivanovic starting at RB despite his alarming drop off. Our defence needs some major work. Without Terry starting, there is a distinct lack of leadership but with him, unfortunately we're constantly caught out for pace and the gap between defence and attack is too large for our DM/CM's to cover.

We were also extremely poor before the Eva Carneiro incident, so whilst it might be having an effect, I doubt it's what has caused the current decline in form.

@robben - not a language problem, I'm from ulster, I guess I was just throwing ideas out there. So many different things that I wanted to say and touch upon so I guess it got jumbled. When I say he has been the best manager in the last ten years I am talking purely about the results and trophies.

@fuser - He has changed his system but I guess by saying he has used similar tactics I mean he is a defence first coach. But I should have elaborated further.

I agree with what was said about youth.

And if anyone was wondering, I wasn't typing on my fruit bat. I typed phone and autocorrect killed me haha.

I wish people would stop beating Jose with the Lukaku and De Bruyne stick. Neither player was sold because they didn't fit the system or because JM didn't like them. Both wanted to be automatic starters and neither were at that level when they left.
