I think you forget ajh. , we've had a 6 year love affair with jose. We ( chelsea fans) and Jose were very much In love with one another but like any relationship we had our disagreements. In fact if we as chelsea fans needed some support and a shoulder to cry on when we fell out with jose and someone that would agree with us and help us badmouth him during our tiffs we would have looked no further than a Utd fan. of course you guys are globally renowned for short memories, double standards, and being fickle and hypocritical so it's no surprise that all of a sudden, Jose is king in your neck of the woods ( football's like that, we signed mark Hughes once who I despised and then loved in the space of a few months) . Just like Moyes was king, ( though dethroned in a manner that Utd would never consider of course) . i guess what I'm saying my friend is that most marriages end within 6-7 years these days and generally because you fall out of love with the novelty factor. In conte the novelty is that he is pretty decent in the way he conducts himself and I can see us having a long term gaffer much like a certain SAF. Good luck with Jose ( i loved most of the time we spent with him and he'll always be chelsea) but now it's someone else's turn to take the rough with the smooth. And trust me they'll be plenty of both. Maybe I meant that Conte seems a better man, I'll accept that he still has to prove that he's a better manager but I've got a feeling he'll do just that whilst jose will bring in trophies for a while because that's what he does, get used to being hated even more with him at the helm and start thinking about your new manager for 2019 once he's bored with you too. I'm heading of to the Utd page now to do a bit of mancing ( winding people up for no apparent reason from my armchair down south ) On the subject of meltdowns. , you saw the defending champions last year under joses guidance right? He left before Christmas mate .

I have come to the conclusion (even when he was with us Chelsea), that he knows his limitations. He is great at man management, and unless u but him a complete new team every two years, he is found out and looks for way out. He is very clever, always gets the club to buy the best players, sets up a great defence, use his man management skills to get the best out of the players for two years, but as I said, unless a new set of players arrive everything goes tits up. He will put United back to the top, but u will need someone new in a couple of years.

Someone touch a nerve Zola 😂 I have always like Jose and wanted him after SAF retired, some United fans are as you describe but coming from a Chelsea fan I find that hypocritical. Good luck with conte, decenct manager but I don't think THE man for you, we will take the rough with the smooth with Jose after all we've takes 20+ years of smooth with Fergie and plenty of rough the last 3 years, good luck next season x.
