Hello guys!
I've been doing some thinking, and I actually think we should start AC ahead of Rudiger and Cahill. Now, I'm Danish, so I may be biased, which is why I'd like to hear your opinions. I think AC has seemed way more confident and comfortable than both Cahill and Rudiger most of the time. I also think Rudiger, although he has an amazing physique, tends to make a few mistakes and seem like a liability when he's got the ball, although he seems to get by decently. Cahill, I simply don't think has the level to start when our squad is fully fit anymore.
I guess, however, that one of the problems with AC is that he perhaps plays too much like Luiz, but AC is young, and we should be able to suit him for either LCB or RCB easily.

i am sure there are dozens of permutations that will come up but i would settle for rudiger as his reads the game better.
courtois -azi, luiz, rudiger and then across the middle to stop roma coming onto us as we allowed at home - kante, drinkwater, bayakoko, alonso with pedro, morata and hazard.
key subs being zappacosta if kante tires, ampadou for bayakoko and controversially, willian who i think is finding his feet again.

Really we should start Azpi, Christensen and Rudiger in a back three and move Luiz to midfield while Baka adjusts. We still need to sign another top centre back next season even with Zouma returning.

I fail to see why we need another top CB. Perhaps if Cahill moves on I could see the need for an extra body, but I personally think Rudiger, AC and Azpi should be our starting CB’s. Bringing in someone like Van Dijk (who I doubt rate at all) will likely want to start week in, week out.

When you play two games a week you need quality. Bringing Cahill into the side is not quality unless you’re happy with him marshalling our defence 😂.

That’s why I said we should replace Cahill.
