I think kepa is a smart choice as a replacement for TC.

Kovacic might turn out to be a very good player but I think a lot will depend on how sarri can use him. I don't think any manager has been able to bring out his full potential out of him. With him we will have Jorginho, Kante, Bakayoko, Kovacic, RLC, Barkley, farbregas and Drinkwater for the three spots in our midfield. I am sure that Drinkwater will leave and one of Fabregas, Bakayoko or RLC. I would prefer if Fabregas left out of those.

Now to the reports that we might sign fekir. I think he is a Brilliant little player but I am not sure where he will play. Our midfield is already crowded if we sign kovacic. Only way it can happen is if we sign him to play as a striker or if he replaces Willian.

What do you guys think? And ED001 have you seen kepa or kovacic to tell us if they are any good?

{Ed001's Note - I have seen a little of Kepa and he looked very good. I am told he is much better than that though and that I need to watch a lot more of him. As for Kovacic, I have seen a lot of him over the years as we have a poster on the Liverpool site who is obsessed by him. Very good player, but he doesn't get much game time at Madrid, so he has not progressed as he should. He is a bit like Milinkovic-Savic in style of play.}

Thanks, really appreciate the response. Your reply fills me with hope. Today might change our window from being shambolic one to a pretty good one. And if we get a Fekir, A Center back and a left back it will be amazing but We shouldn't get greedy.

{Ed001's Note - you have Sarri anyway, he would have got more out of the same team than Conte did, imo. So you were going forward anyway.}

On the topic of Sari, I think you said when we hired Antonio Conte that he is someone who can steady the ship after mourinho but he is not the person to take us to the next level (A Long long time reader) and I think you said after he has steadied the ship for a while we will need someone else to take us forward. Do you think Sarri can be that person to take us to that elite level? (If you didn't say, my apologies in advance as it was a long time ago)

{Ed001's Note - yes, well remembered mate. It did look after his first season I was wrong about Conte! I do think Sarri is a next level in terms of the football. He is a coach who will coach the players he is given and improve them. He will also play the style of play that gets fans off their seats in excitement.}
