Good luck to JT in his retirement.

One of the best defenders I've EVER seen and a fantastic captain.

In my opinion it will be a long time before we see another player like him at our club.

Hope he comes back home to the bridge in some capacity sooner rather than later.

I now can't wait for his book to come out!

Tomb, I think we will be lucky to be graced by another John Terry, Frank Lampard or Drogba. These players were special quality.

John Terry was unique because he was natural born leader, phenomenal defender with a brilliant goal scoring record which defenders generally lack, he has scored more than many strikers in the premier league.

Frank Lampard was one of a kind, nobody will score from CM like he did, another like him is not possible. Just imagine aother CM popped up in the premier league with 20+ goals and countless assists per season? 200-million?

Drogba was unique not because he could score because there are strikers who score more but because he had the mental strength to do it when it mattered.

All the best JT, hope to see you again at the Bridge.

I was amazed seeing JT's history that we were willing to sell him to Huddersfield when he was 20 but JT turned the move down! Good to see that our transfer policy has improved (see de Bruyne / Salah / Lukaku)!
