In other news, anybody keeping an eye on Bakayoko. He is now producing top class displays from the defensive midfield position. One of the leading midfielders in Serie A at the moment.

We judged him too early here. He needed the trust, time and care which he was never shown. He woulda been awesome with his current form on the left side of our present midfield three. Shame.

Why is it a shame - he was really suffering a brutal lack of confidence here and it has done him the World of good to go out on loan. He is still our player and hopefully we can recall him next season.

I think chelsea will get rid and make their money back on him. Does he fit system? Maybe use him to take Ramagnoli.

another weak fragile character that doesn't suit the premier league or the pressure of it and the speed of the games. just like morata both are obviously good players but not suited to the pl simple as that for me.

I don't think he is weak or fragile. I think he was chucked into the deep end and not helped.

Look at Fabinho at Liverpool, he was in that same Monaco team. This season, he wasn't just told to go and play a new way, he's gradually been brought along and in the last 6 to 8 weeks, he's been up there as one of Liverpools standouts.

In my opinion, he wasn't given time to adapt to the rigors of English football.
