Hey guys I never post just constantly read this site everyday. Been long time supporter and am from Canada. I will always support my team on the field. I was one hoping board would finally back a coach and give Sarri chance but have to admit with each passing game I wonder. His insistence on playing Jorginho, Alonso and Luiz has me baffled. His reluctance to change team up is going to cost us CHO and Christensen! We clearly need a true #10 ( I like Fekhir, 2xcb who can defend ( I like Manolas and Romagnoli) great all round and affordable and 2 fullbacks and prolific striker ( got to go all in for Icardi) . It's going to take at least two windows to get this! The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. I hate to say it but I don't think Sarri makes it past the coming weekend! Bring in coach number 10 in 10 years, what a mess! If so who would you guys like to see realistically come in. Myself Brendan Rogers with JT.

If the club do make a change I hope they go for JT now.

He has the personality to crush some of this squad and I cannot see Villa saying no to him leaving.

No manager can come in and do a job here. These players are nowhere near good enough to play for Chelsea but seem to have all the Control at the club. I feel for Sarri, he's taken on a awful squad which aren't anywhere near capable of playing his football but the fans have been more on his back than the players and the board who are the bigger problems so he's the one that'll likely end up getting the boot. If he's sacked i don't care who comes in, i just hope it isn't Lampard, i don't want this club to ruin his managerial career. If i was any manager i'd stay as far away from this club as possible.

JT hasn’t even got villa solid or stamped authority there. Don’t let club status blind you, what if he starts to lose games, then has to be moved on., we don’t even know what sort of manager / football he is about. Has 6 months experience as an assistant in a lower league, heart over head I think mate,

LondonBlue, I agree with the majority of your points.

Matt. I agree with your point about JT lacking experience. I just think and believe he is a leader who the players would respect as a boss.

It’s all rubbish anyway, Sarri ain’t going to leave.

LondonBlues, I usually support Sarri but the end is near in my view. Consider this project as a waste of time if he is sacked.

Sarri has inherited an aging squad but he doesn't help himself, he is so stubborn and he will be sacked. If he wasnt stubborn then maybe the board would have persisted.

Nobody tells him to keep playing Alonso, Jorginho, Willian and Pedro. He has RLC, CHO, Christensen and Emerson who are all raring to go but he persists with the former players. Surely they can't be any worse. We could end up losing all of them in the summer because of Sarri.

I mean Alonso was responsible for two goals against another Manchester side again? What does he need to do to be dropped. I can see why other senior players have lost hope. If a player is platforming badly then he needs to be dropped, i find the whole excuse that he gives a physical edge laughable. Atleast be fair to yourself. Like for like subs is not worth commenting on.

CFCShak, i agree that he isn't helping himself. I made a post a couple of days ago expressing my utter bemusement to Sarri continuously picking players who are underperforming week in and week out. I honestly thought the drumming at City would've resulted in change but clearly his stubbornness has no limit. Personally i still don't think it should warrant the sack since i really don't expect any manager do be able to do any better long term. Our culture of sacking managers only worked in the past because what ever manager came in was walking into a bucket load of talent. That's not the case anymore, we have 2 world class players and that's it. If the board aren't serious about believing in Sarri and giving him time, then maybe it's best to get rid to help the likes of CHO and Christensen to stay. But we've been going backwards for a few years now and continuing to sack managers who try and change things when it gets tough will only make it worse.

Very good reply LondonBlues. Its a shame because its not the bad results that's gets me. his stubborness to pick same players and alienating others and using like for like subs that will cost him dear.

Yeah i honestly believe if he were to be using the likes of CHO, Christensen and Emerson more often the fans would have been more patient with him. Hopefully he learns and use them in the first team but i just can't see it.

The sticking to the same out of form players is one of his biggest downfalls but the substitutions are a joke. Like for like just won't change a game unless you have a squad like City’s where they can bring on De Bruyne or one of the Silvas etc. Bringing on Barkley or Willian just isn’t going to have the same impact. And I’m sorry but subbing Azpi for Zappacosta is a laughable. Unless Azpi was injured I really don’t see why it was done as Zappacosta hasn’t shown any ability to cross or score goals bar the one or two flukes.

i say lamps and jt to take over because they are leaders of men and chelsea through an through theyl no how to get that dressing room going again how to motivate these players and most inportantly theyl automatically gain respect because of who they are . they are leaders of men jt and lamps bring them in.
