Get frozen then I think we will struggle big time 100 million will not buy you a another Eden Hazard it's as simple as that I like how we all want youth to play a part in our team yet the biggest team in the world in Real Madrid never do it lol money is everything these days not youth.

I share your opinion on this. It's surprising how even some fans have lowered their standard with Chelsea nowadays. Such obsession with playing the youth. It's good if we can get some talents integrated into the first team over time but we must not stop chasing and sustaining success to remain a big club.

To some, the ban is a blessing because it will give the youth opportunity and all that. It will take us years back. Not only is the ban bad for the club in many other ways but it is coming at the worst time for Chelsea. Losing our best players and potentially losing our coach. This is a time our rivals are getting stronger. And we hope to make the top four and win some odd trophies according to many posters. IMO now is the time to strengthen the spine of the squad with quality players and complement with the youth who actually take their chances (ban frozen) . Chances should be given on merit of performance and not an entitlement.

Again we quickly turn to accountants in rationalising the adequate amount spent or to be spent on players even when we know nothing about details. I'm not interested in how much the club spend so long as the players perform and help our course in becoming the best. After all we became a big club by signing best and quality over quantity as is the case now. Except we have given up in winning like Arsenal did with Wenger, we must attract and sign a few of world class players. Big clubs and players do not play in europa. No big club rely on the youth to win them trophies. They complement until they have earned their place.

I still cherish the good old days and I want it back or we continue the decline.
