Assuming nobody snaps him up in the next year, I'd love for us to go after James Maddison. Think he could be a great addition to the squad and it would add to our growing English influence in the first team.

Maddison, RLC, CHO, Tammy and Reece could well be the future of the English national team. What are everyone's thoughts?

He is a really really good player, as mentioned before I watched loads of Leicester games last season and for me he was the standout player of the team with Chilwell. I don't really know what man city and man utd are seeing in Maguire though.

If anything I am more worried about Liverpool, Henderson and Milner are aging. I'm sure they'll look for English influence.

Lets hope that the draw of Lampard would sway Maddison to come to us next year!

I think James Maddison is similar to Ross Barkley (who's refusing to improve to his potential) in some ways; yes he's a good player but I am not over the moon about him.

I'll take my chances with Mount instead of spending a lot of money on a guy like Maddison.

Maddison is a quality player, his at the level people think Mount is already at,

You literally can't compare mount and Maddison guys. Mount sometimes looked lost in Championship where Maddison probably been best leicester player this season.

Not comparing them, obviously Maddison is more experienced and also has got that relevant Premiership experience. I just feel that if Mason Mount is given the same exposure or close (like Maddison) he can be equal or better to Maddison. I remember that Chelsea also scouted Maddison too before now when he was at Norwich but decided against signing him (it could be the right decision cos Mason Mount did show a lot of promise last season, so best we give him a chance) .
