I am by no means as positive of a poster as some on this board but I don't share the same level of concern as some on here. For starters the score was terrible but I don't think anybody watching that game would've accused it of being a mauling. We had a handful of defensive mistakes and were punished every time whereas we had multiple chances but didn't catch a break.

If we would've gone into halftime with a tie it would've been an entirely different outcome. I was most disappointed at the third goal as it pointed to a lack of composure. We're presently missing our best center back, two of our three best midfielders, and two of our three best wingers not to mention that we're trying to integrate a ton of new players into a new system.

This team on paper should improve more than most other clubs throughout the year entirely due to the youth and the lack of familiarity within the club. It's unfortunate that the start to this season features manu away and Liverpool away to start the season but I think we will see a completely different team at the beginning and end of the year. got to support the club and not allow negativity to hold back the players from achieving their potential.

Good post mate, a few weeks ago I was saying get the first two games out the way then start picking up some wins we have some very winnable games coming up after Liverpool game. I like you thought we played well against Utd and was really unlucky on another day we could win that game.
