If Broja does leave and Havertz isn't a reliable 9 what option out there is better than what we have?

I'm struggling to think right now as the striker market is so dry. Haaland and Nunez were the highest rated young strikers and now they've joined City and Liverpool. If there's no one out there who we could have confidence to come in and score more than 15 goals a season we might as well wait save panic buying.

This is where we need a sporting director like Michael Edwards to come in and do some scouting for a Diego Costa/ Drogba regan.

Jay unfair to say Harvertz is unreliable he will do okay as a false nine but he is not a striker. We need a striker as there are times when you need to pump the ball into the box as an option; we have players who can cross the ball. I am not looking forward to another season of false nines and chopping and changing of the front three. If we are to bring in a striker it needs to be in the summer not in January, which is panic buying. Personally, I would take a chance on Oshimen: it is a risk but there is no one else around.

I think you will find the club have an ace up the sleeve. Defence is nearly in place, keepers and midfielders will be the same, Alonso is now staying, Cho will cover RWB as will Kounde. Squad is pretty much in place with 1 or maybe 2 huge signings coming in up front. I know Ronaldo will join.

Ronaldo would be a grave error. TT doesn’t want him and would cause unrest in the squad and give TT another excuse for failure just like Lukaku.
