If we can't sign Enzo or Caicedo I hope we don't panic buy and wait until summer.

You can get similar players to Caicedo but Enzo has so many all round attributes he has to be signed. Players like him don't come along often. Get him on a pre agreement ready for summer.

If we can get Gusto done at RB I wouldn't mind seeing Reece moved into midfield. If he played on the right of a midfield three he could still drift wider and use his crossing ability. Be nice to have a midfielder with a presence in there who can score a worldwide from outside the box.

Remeber it’s not just the release clause to pay…taxes will apply, factor in signing-on and agents fees and the figure may inflate massively.

G8, it was intended to be a light-hearted response to the suggestion that Ampadu was a better option than EF, or Caicedo. If you take your blue-tinted glasses off you might realise that in midfield Ampadu is bang average. He doesn’t break play up very well; he passes backwards and sideways and is no goal threat . I would have hoped you had better ambitions for Chelsea’s midfield.

Other than Wales and a few games for us and while he has been on loan, I haven’t seen enough of him to give a firm opinion. To my old eyes I was never sure of his best position.
