Anyone able to tell me where David Datro Fofana is? Is he injured? This team is crying out for a goalscorer and I know he's raw but surely he couldn't be doing any worse than poor old Kai up front right now?

I really feel for Havertz - as many have said 9 is not his position and his confidence must be taking an absolute beating, especially with so-called 'supporters' turning on him. I've read a few interviews with him and he seems like a smart, grounded, conscientious young man. So, again, not a striker.

Hard watch last night, knowing on an almost instinctual level that the team simply weren't going to finish any of those brilliant opportunities they crafted. Someone the other day asked if I was serious that I could see progression under Potter - I wonder if this person has such a short memory that they can't remember what it was like watching the second half of Tuchel's reign as manager. How many chances did we create in those final six months? If the team are devoid of confidence in an attacking sense I would suggest that he should share a large portion of the blame.

I might have said this before, jokingly, but I'd advocate for throwing Reece up front as he's the only player in the squad I back to score 9 times out of 10. Another wonderful finish from him, painfully (though correctly) disallowed. If there's one thing I've not understood in the last few games it's playing almost exclusively down the left with Chilly and not utilising James in attacking positions. I was at the Everton game and we simply ignored his forward runs for most of the first half. He was often wide open in huge amounts of space. Yesterday we saw him using that blend of skill and muscle to glide past players as if they weren't there - we could do with more of that, and creating shooting positions for him from outside the box (again, he's got that ability that none of our midfielders seems to have, apart from Gallagher, to shoot from distance) .

I believe Fofana is in the development squad and is performing fairly well. I may be wrong mind.

I’m sure Fofana the younger is still recovering from injury and I have seen anything about him back training with the first team squad but I may well be wrong.

I’m still not convinced James is 100% fit whereas Chilly has really hit the ground running.

Thanks Rj and Tom. Yes Tom, I agree with you about Reece. At the same time, he's usually been pretty cautious in a Chelsea shirt unless he knows he's got the beating of someone – body facing backwards receiving the ball a lot of the time – so perhaps that has something to do with players choosing to play down the other side, where Chilly will usually take on a defender and see if he can get a cross in.

How I'd love to see Reece playing with the handbrake off as we've seen him play occasionally – the two of them marauding together is a lot of fun. At the same time I understand with serious knee injuries that players would be reticent to really open out for a while afterwards.

EdW, you are spot on with knee injuries but Chilly has surprised me how well he has returned to form.

I think the situation with James is he also hasn’t got anyone in front of him to play to. If that makes sense.
