First post but read the site for a bit mate. Firstly mate, kinda ridiculous chelsea have two midfeilders at the club that has played first team football. Abysmal management. With that, we are now stuck with bloody brithton playing hardball over 100 million mate. He's not worth that.

Tell you what mate, use Casadai in that position instead. Give the man a chance instead of spending 100 million on a mate that's had 1 good season. And one last point mate, give broja a go at our striker this season. When has a big striker signing ever worked out at this club mate?

Nothing new but I am just a little confused, we seem to be missing a post from someone called “mate”?

Broja hasn’t played a game in about year and the season hasn’t started so I’m sure we will add player’s to our midfield soon.

Genuine reasons why midfield players have left, being out of contract on not wanting to to extend a contract.

Top 4 very unlikely this coming season I'd think given strength of competition and fact we seem short on experienced players with leadership qualities other than Reece and Thiago. Plus nor many proven EPL goalscorers.

I can’t see us being in the top four next season. I think Poch has got his work cut out particularly early season.

Obviously, I will be happy to be wrong.

Tom, I understand your pessimism; no midfielders, no striker or keeper but plenty of time left. Obviously if I feel we have brought in the wrong players, my optimism will diminish- .

My view is that Poch has a huge task bedding in so many new players. Giving him time to create a team is going to be key.
