Personally don't believe the Chelsea link, there's no chance of him replacing Azpilicueta, Cahill or Luiz, so is he going to go there to be 4th choice or possibly 5th choice behind the current 4th choice Rudiger? Chelsea have more pressing areas to improve, not CD.

I can only remember seeing one post (and I've forgotten the sender) that mentions VVD taking Luiz's position, whilst Luiz is used more as Kante's partner in midfield. As good as Luiz is playing at CB, what do you other guys think about this?

Since David luiz came back and we played 3 at back he has been nothing short of superb. Conte wants back 3 with bit of speed and power, I worry for azpi but like mentioned he can play either wing back role,

has azpi really got the pace to play wing back? and does he offer enough going forward? i worry we have the best rb in the world just not the system for him.

Dave is not the answer to either side at wing back not even as cover.

I'm pretty sure Dave would be fantastic even if we played him in goal for a season. Best defender in the world in my opinion. He'll play where he's put and do so fantastically.

ed, I understand you do not have time to provide a list of players we are interested in.
could you provide a list of positions we are still trying to sign players for. its ok if you are too busy but at least hearing the positions would give us fans an incentive as to how many players we will sign by the end of the window. I feel like we are 3/ 4 players short of a squad which could challenge on all fronts.

The targets are changing all the time, so it's not simple to follow almost every club transfer activity. We'll see what happens in the end.

the only thing I have seen as a slight worry is squad depth. but in reflection I don't think it is a big issue. see below -

Moses Alonso azpil kenedy ( yes we need another wing back) 2/ 4
Baker fabregas bakayoko kante 2/ 4

Morata batman ½ ( we do need another striker)
so if we got one striker in and a versatile wing back I think things are ok. if we get 2 wing backs things are good and if we get another CM things are great!
