It's being reported Chelsea have pulled out of the race to sign Texeira from Shakhtar - are you aware whether this is the case?

{Ed002's Note - Nothing has changed. Since Chelsea got involved in October the price (from a club that does not want to sell) has gone up twice. Chelsea has no interest in being held to ransom - at a price that suits the club there is interest. Else, the club moves on.{

Do you think there will be a compromise before the end of this window Ed. or think Liverpool will be silly enough to pay his asking fee? As I know Chelsea won't.

It's no coincidence we have kept two clean sheets without Ivanovic.
I haven't seen any rumours but wonder whether you are aware of any interest in signing a right back in January?

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any significant effort being made at right back right now. There are other positions which are likely seen as a priority. BR is available again after his US trip and that could see CA move to right back if required for some games - but the manager does have confidence in BI. I think the effort in January, certainly as it appears right now, will be elsewhere.
Hopefully BI will be over his issuette and difficulties soon.}

There are some rumours on twatter about pogba and odds have dropped. Obviously never going to happen but for some reason I am getting sucked in!

Eds, why do clubs always leave it so late to do their transfer business in January?
As a fan, you'd think it would make more sense to get business done early and get the new player integrated into the squad as soon as possible.
Is there something us fans are not aware of?

{Ed002's Note - It is never an easy time - some clubs don't want to sell, some players don't want to move because they are in Europe, some clubs can't get replacements and then moves get facilitated right at the end.}

Several news outlets are reporting Chelsea have submitted a bid of around £44m to Everton for John Stones.
Do you know whether there is any truth in it?

Assuming that we don't get either Stones or Pogba, do we have a back up plan for both positions? Don't expect you to name names just a yes or no will suffice.
Also, been hearing that remy wants to leave. Can't understand how Falcao gets in above him but if he were to leave, do you think we may make late move for Charlie Austin?

He doesn't say whether those players are moving in to or out of the club.
Maybe the Wallace and Bamford loan deals are included in the six players moving?
