hi ed hope all is well with you.
just wondered if you could explain something as i do understand the workings on this.
if the club is sold to a new owner in the next 4-6 weeks for example, would that mean the immediate lifting of all restrictions, and the club can reopen the club shop, sell tickets again.

I was wondering if there has been a drop dead date for making a bid. Also does any one no what happens if two separate bidders make the exact same offer. I am sure RA can't choose the successor so he does. Any clarity would be greatly appreciated.

What exactly does a deal agreed in 'Prinicple' mean, why is different to the usual ' a deal has been agreed'.

I think we, as supporters need to try not get carried away. He played really well yesterday but I think for his development a premiership loan would be ideal IMO. Ed do you know if any premier league clubs are interested in a loan? I'm not looking for names just curious?

Hmm why can't we just use him ourselves? We've only got Pedro, Willian and Hazard in his position. 3 players for 2 spots isn't enough. Yes, Musonda's there as well. But 4 is still the bare minimum amount that's required there.
Plus Eden will be out injured until the end of September probably, while Pedro has just suffered a concussion (must be something to it as he was sent home from the tour) . Musonda's carrying a knock right now as well. So why not keep Boga? He is good enough to play a role for us.

Yes it's frustrating for cfc fans, but it will be sold to a non Russian buyer in the end and we move on. but for Ukraine they cannot move on, let's forget about football and pray that the war winds soon to stop the endless killing.

Quick question, not sure how accurate the BBC is and my lack of understanding in this area, with it being written CFC has reported annual losses after tax of £145.6m. does this have any effect on FFP.

My personal opinion I'm glad for once we didn't panic buy had targets didn't come to fruition and unfortunately didn't strengthen. But few injury free runs I think we will be ok.

Ed002, surely this will be the same issue in the Summer then; if it is the case of Chelsea wanting to dictate the price in a seller’s market?
The likes of Sancho, Chilwell, Werner will all not suddenly droop in value nor will their clubs turn around and say “help yourselves†in June.
if anything, their hyper inflated prices will only be more inflated given the Euros. So it is then a case of Chelsea having to shop in the tier two/ three market and try to get players who “may†be good/ or who are slightly past their peak.
All in all, it does not make for great reading when Chelsea refuse to pay the going rate, because it ultimately means we can forget about signing first choice options.

Who did we miss out on? The player you've listed were not avaialble to anyone.
The players we were linked with appear to have been overpriced.
I can think of two players that moved that could have been options for us. Haaland (who was very expensive for youngster) and maybe the chap from Brentford (would have been a big gamble) apart from that, nobody.
If we'd missed out om someone I'd undertsand, but I think that this window was always looking difficult.

I agree, not really much change as i can see apart from the overall decisions being made by others rather than Roman, marina and petr still there carrying on a usual. Roman has done this as he knows possible sanctions being put in place against him, he has put the club first to ensure every eventuality in catered for.

there will be put in place contingency plans that would have been out of the media already sorted
