HUDSON-ODOI to CRYSTAL Palace Almost DONE.

But Someone on FULHAM ROAD wants him there.

ItsBlueWhatElseMatters

1.) 04 Jul 2023 23:59:16
One "news" paper has CHO joining AC Milan.

2.) 05 Jul 2023 07:47:51
Tom posted a while ago re waiting to see how players return after a serious injury. Broja is still a "wait and see", RLC came back but CHO has never been the same player since his. I can only guess it's a confidence issue as he obviously passed a medical for his loan move to Germany. The young Portugese lad we've just purchased is on a par attack wise, but much better defensively than CHO so I'd rather CHO was sold. If the Palace rumours are true he'd fit perfectly there, far less pressure to perform than at a top 6 (really wanted to say top 4) side. My reasoning here is look at CG, was huge at Palace when on loan, but hasn't looked nearly the same player with the pressure to perform/ get starts at a top club.
No disrespect meant to Palace, survival is there aim, whereas at the "top" clubs the aim is to win trophies.
As an aside, I was impressed with what Patrick did with Palace last year, but, no money to improve and a CG gone this year ( and Zaha too now this year) I think they will be right in the relegation battle next season under Hodgeson. Veira's appointment at Strasbourg (sorry spelling) is in my mind a masterstroke, he will develop young talented players to be ready to step up to pl whilst putting Strasbourg (spelling again lol) into a challenging position in the top half of the French League. If BlueCo can purchase a Portugese club I only see their foresight as a "win, win" .

3.) 05 Jul 2023 07:57:54
As long as he joins someone, never matured unfortunately, has all the raw talent in the world but seems to be more interested in social media and fashion than football.

4.) 05 Jul 2023 11:12:39
Kiwi, I have never had a reason to look into the mechanics of the so called multi club model.

Putting aside the issues of club structures I have to say the opportunity of players being loaned within the system looks from the outside interesting.

5.) 06 Jul 2023 09:41:15
Yep, exactly Tom. Within a multi club ownership situation one would think/ hope that a players perceived, or possible deficiencies would be addressed with a view to them being eventually integrated into the CFC squad as the finished article whilst remaining within the club structure. Ed002's comment that Webster has options for loan being Heerenven or Stasbourg, at Stasbourg we have input, at Herenveen we have none under a loan situation. A prime example is Jamal at Bayern who we lost because the gap between academy and first team was too great. Players want to play, if they are given a route to where they want to be ( rather than a vacant space for a year or 2) they will be onboard. It's about providing pathways (clearly defined) to these younger players that if they work hard and perform there is a next step and eventually (if they have grown) a possible first team spot at Chelsea.

Chelsea want Callum Hudson-Odoi Back at the END OF THE SEASON. He Is Going to be an Integral Part of the New Manager's team.

ItsBlueWhatElseMatters

1.) 03 May 2023 12:59:04
No don't see that happening.

2.) 03 May 2023 13:36:37
His spell at Leverkusen has not been good so I really doubt that true, how can anyone know the who would be in managers plans when we don’t have a manger, or his looked at team, let alone the players out on loan,

3.) 05 May 2023 05:46:30
Squad: Kepa Arrizabalaga, David Raya, Marcus Bettinelli, Reece James, Malo Gusto, Thiago Silva, Wesley Fofana, Trevoh Chalobah, Levi Colwill, Benoit Badiashile, Ben Chilwell, Marc Cucurella, N'Golo Kante, Declan Rice, Enzo Fernandez, Andrey Santos, Carney Chukwuemeka, Conor Gallagher, Mason Mount, Noni Madueke, Raheem Sterling, Mykhailo Mudryk, Christian Nkunku, Armando Broja, Victor Osimhen.
This London. com's squad which I largely agree with apart from CG (who I think will be rightfully sold, (great for someone else below us, not technically good enough for us), Mount is an issue for the potential "head coach" and management to deal with, therefore meaning a Kone/ McAsister/ Caicedo alternative is needed if Mount is sold. I don't see Rice joining with no CL.
I personally think with Silva and Fofana as RCB options in a 4 TC may go (loan hopefully) Badishille, Colwill as LCB options we are good there, in a back 3 we are well covered also.
At R + L WB we are covered (hopefully Maatsen gets another loan, he is the future) midfield dealt with/ now we get to our Achilles Heal, attack! . M+M are the future, both will be hugely influential next season, if, given game time this season in the remaining fixtures, unfortunately I see us stuck with Sterling next year due to wages, a huge TT and TB "stuff up" (not the first in our history, won't be the last tbf) .
Realistically I don't see Osinheem or Kane joining as striker due to no CL, but Vlahovic from Juve could actually be the perfect fit for us, Havertz, Felix behind him as a second striker (which they both thrive on) would be wonderful tbf.
It's all about how we see the future, positive or negative, personal choice, personally as a Chealsea fan for 50 years I'm looking for the positives!

4.) 05 May 2023 08:15:21
Kiwi, the lad from Juve should in my opinion be our realistic No9 target.

I think Kane will be playing at Utd next season and I will be surprised if the Lad from Napoli leaves but if he does the fee will be astronomical and it won’t be to us unfortunately.

5.) 05 May 2023 23:41:00
Pete, from a business/ footballing perspective I would not put Maatsen out on loan, I would sell Chilwell or Cucurella - we can’t bury out heads in the sand we need to bring in some money. Tom is right no way would Spurs sell Kane to us, if he leaves it will be Man U and Osimhen won’t be coming to us . I disagree about Vlahovic, he is a powder puff and would not survive in the PL, he has scored 9 goals in Serie A this season and is defensively weak. A better option would be Martinez, he is physically and mentally strong, holds the ball up and has scored 19 goals. I think he could strike up a good partnership with Nkunku with their different styles of play.

6.) 06 May 2023 06:55:11
The lad from Juve is reasonably quick but more importantly got a good first touch.

He has only played 24 games in Serie A this season.

I would love Kane but I don’t think he is what the club will want. I know he would probably prefer to stay in London and if we get Poch that may sway his decision. For me it’s just about how far a club will go to sign a player and I just think Utd will go the extra mile.

7.) 06 May 2023 19:28:25
My choice would be Toney or lautaro! additionally, if premium offers comes in, I would sell James and chidwel due to persistent injury problems. This team will go no where if its best players aren't readily available. lot of inconsistencies in team. Our 3 most influential players namely kante, James and chidwel have always been away to Injuries! how can such team thrives? then we have others like kovacic, ziyech, pulisic, cheek, fofana that are often injured couple with some players with inconsistencies like CG, Kai, sterling, chalobah, cucu. how can this team fight for a marathon league championship. stability is the key.

NAPOLI in for CHO
Aston Villa Lurking

Chelsea Don't want to Sell .

ItsBlueWhatElseMatters

07 Aug 2022 22:35:36
Chelsea Will NOT sell CHO .

Owners Want Him at the Club .

Player wants to play in attack in his rightful position and fight for his place

Tuchel Adamant and keeps playing him as a Wing Back.

Player spoke to Tuchel and TT gave no tangible reason why he is being played out of Position.

ItsBlueWhatElseMatters

1.) 07 Aug 2022 23:00:06
Somehow I don't think the owners will have that strong a feeling on CHO staying or going. He needs a loan, he has not kicked on.

28 Jul 2022 10:01:48
If Chelsea Loans Hudson-Odoi to Newcastle he won't be returning to the Club.

. Chelsea Risk Losing Him for Good .

ItsBlueWhatElseMatters

1.) 28 Jul 2022 15:39:59
Don’t think he’s quite good enough to be fair.

2.) 28 Jul 2022 15:57:18
Then he goes for good. I don’t see Odoi as an unreasonable person but if he can’t see that a loan will serve him and Chelsea best, then he’s unreasonable.

3.) 29 Jul 2022 08:24:49
I'd rather keep barkley than cho he is so overrated a 1 trick pony and not good enough for a CL team. better than me yes.

CHO is not going to Palace ?

After speaking to him, Chelsea will regret if they let him GO .

Barring any Injuries, He Is Ready to take on the PREMIER LEAGUE.

ItsBlueWhatElseMatters

1.) 07 Jul 2023 11:19:25
At West Ham.

2.) 07 Jul 2023 14:11:34
Where is he going?

{Ed002's Note - There is plenty of interest in him.}

3.) 07 Jul 2023 14:26:11
Has he taken up darts it's blue.

CHO...

ItsBlueWhatElseMatters

1.) 31 Jul 2022 08:40:55
I had a massive JD evening last night but the above post is not me using another name!

If CHO is leaving good luck to him.

I don’t think anyone was to blame for his injury and I’m sure TT wasn’t our manager when the German teams came calling.

2.) 31 Jul 2022 09:02:44
He is free to go. Once he got that big contract he let himself loose.

At the top of the game if you take pedal off the gas for half a year its really really hard to catch up.

Look how many great young players had same issues, Wilshere, Ibe to name few.

3.) 31 Jul 2022 10:38:28
CHO was never as good as he thought he was. Also. I think there are new FIFA rules in force restricting the number of loans clubs can make, I don’t know the details.

07 Jul 2022 13:24:32
CHO going Nowhere.

Lot of Teams In For CHO as I type
Chelsea Don't Want To Sell
Any Idea Why?

ItsBlueWhatElseMatters

1.) 30 Jun 2022 22:15:37
Could be a few reasons.

Maybe timing. They want to wait and see who we sign!

Or, maybe they are keeping him and selling one or all of Pusilic, Werner and Ziyech.

2.) 30 Jun 2022 22:17:30
Because the boy is a talent.

3.) 30 Jun 2022 22:24:18
I quite like CHO - maybe misguidedly. He did well, then all right, then got injured. TT was forced to use him as a WB due to injuries and lack of depth, which suited neither - same for Pulisic.

Perhaps with reinforcements at WB, a possible change in system (4-2-3-1?) and a clear run of injuries, CHO is still seen to have potential at Chelsea. I think he’s worth another season.

CP, CHO, Rafinha, Sterling - and everyone leaves out Mount? - that’d do.

4.) 01 Jul 2022 08:38:27
I think CHO has a point to prove, it’d be great to see him played in a consistent manner (and in the right area of the pitch) so that he can regain that confidence and shine, We need to be mindful of CL registration, so maybe that’s an added incentive to keep him around?

5.) 01 Jul 2022 09:29:26
CHO has had plenty of time to prove himself: he can’t live on potential, he lacks the mentality to be a top class player: he has very poor judgement. He is one of those players who thinks he is better than he is. If Sterling, Raphinha come in he has no chance.

6.) 01 Jul 2022 10:33:30
It will take a while for his talent to shine through cos of the number of games he’s currently playing in a season, he needs an environment where he will play regularly (week in week out) . A season loan will do him a lot of good and really help bring out his abilities more.

7.) 01 Jul 2022 10:38:41
I thought CHO showed some signs of improvement last season but again he unfortunately had injury/ fitness issues.

Let’s remember his Achilles injury was very serious and players in my opinion do struggle to get back to their best from that injury.

I would prefer Pusilic to stay but can understand both sides of the argument.

8.) 01 Jul 2022 10:59:29
He had a severe injury which is tough to come back from, particularly when you really on change of pace. His directness causes issues…prior to his last injury he was impacting games in the right way. I’d keep him around.

I for sure expect Chelsea to do well this season, No one has a far better team than we have, You need a combination of 2 players from each of the top 4 or 6 teams to match Hazard, How are we losing points playing with Hazard

Now i understand why world class players would rather play in a world class team with world class team mates .

How could a club announce an extention that has not been offered or signed

There is a third party assisting Chelsea to keep CHO from the likes of mainly PSG snapping him away and he is doing a good job despite interest from top major European clubs.

What school is he at if I may ask.

It looks like the teams interested in him don't know about him being in school.

AND it's strange why BAYERN wanted to pay £35m for a Chelsea School Boy who is not ready for regular football and a manager who cares less about his development

Why has he not started a PL game. Is that also because he is a school boy or not fit enough.

Why would an 18year old boy born and bred in London, Loves Chelsea and desciplined in his football and outside ask to be transfered to another country if not to chase his dreams and ambition, that which our beloved chelsea is not offering to him now or in the future

Barkley has years and years of experience and he is no good individually or in a team. Pedro runs around like a bee. He only did great under the manager who brought him in.

The silence and lack of sight of Roman has definately affected the club and its ambition. And we the fans are like the pawns in a classic lifetime chess game

Something is wrong at Chelsea ED002.
Time will tell
I hope it gets fixed before the Summer.

ItsBlueWhatElseMatters

{Ed002's Note - Why do you want to know what scholl he is at? You going to start stalking him? Chelsea will not be disctated to or held ransom by a child. It is nothing to do with Barklay nor Pedro.

I have no idea what you mean by "The silence and lack of sight of Roman has definately affected the club and its ambition" - he attends all games where it is possible to do so.}
