Ed, do you think Chelsea will try for Cuadrado in January? Eligibility in CL, reasonably cheap release clause (35m€), almost inevitable moving on of Cech and Salah which frees the CL foreign spot + a genuine need for a genuine winger in our side? Willian to play the central no10 role more oftenly as he does in the big away matches (City away last and this season, CL semifinals last season) + with other top teams not in a need of a winger (Real, Bayern, United), in FFP trouble(City and PSG + a lack of a foreign spot at PSG. ) and transfer ban - Barca. what do you think? Cheers

Are Chelsea interested in Isco Ed?
{Ed002's Note - If Real Madrid were to make Isco available he would be priced at a level where all but a handful of teams could afford him. Real Madrid were recently discussing another player with Chelsea and I am sure he would have been mentioned if they were looking to move him on. There was interest from Manchester City and Bayern Munich in the past, but right now I am not aware of any interest.}
1.) He's signed a 6 year contract I don't think anyone will be dishing out the money to buy him any time soon lol

Ed, I saw u said few days back Firmino might still be sold in the summer. would CFC be interested only if one of the AMs left (let's say Oscar) or are they interested regardless? Cheers

Hello Ed. From a similar person like yourself, I'm hearing David Luiz + cash for Cavani meeting has been called, only between the intermediares so far. Just wanted to double check it with you if you knew anything about it. cheers

Cheers Ed. I know you've said a couple of months ago CFC have probably stopped pursuing Meyer as he's signed a new contract but do u think that may change in the summer if the club decides to sell Oscar to PSG and will thus have to look for a new no.10? Thanks.

It certainly looks likely at least 1 if not even both of Salah and Schurrle will move on in January. Let's say Schurrle does leave to Wolsfburg for 30m €. Surely the club would buy a replacement immediately? and surely this replacement will be Cuadrado? I mean, he's the only top RW available (35m€) and is even CL eligible? Surely?

If Salah leaves in January, will the club sign another winger?
1.) Maybe Atsu could be recalled from his loan. He doesn't get much game time at Everton so might as well give us the necessary depth if salah were to be sold
2.) I believe Salah will be loaned to Besiktas.
{Ed002's Note - There is an issue to resolve first and there is interest from elsewhere, but it is certainly possible.}
3.) Is there only interest to loan Salah or are there any clubs interested in buying him also?

Ed, are Chelsea still interested in Kroos regardless of Fabregas signing? I mean, is he someone they'll go for even if everyone in midfield stays or is the move conditioned on Ramires or Oscar leaving? Cheers

Ed, I know you're saying all along that Chelsea would like 2 of Costa, Cavani, Falcao but can we really expect the signing of Cavani after Costa? Seems a little bit too optimistic and not exactly viable, wouldn't you say? Not trying to cross you or anything, it's just I can't get my head around that we would go for Cavani after already getting Costa. wouldn't be someone cheaper like Mandzukic or even Jackson Martinez a safer bet? I know you don't like the money questions Ed, but I was just wondering about how much money can be spent this summer with FFP in mind? Obviously the spending can't be limitless, so there's got to be a line at some number.? I know you don't like getting into numbers aswell but if you could just explain a bit with your own words so we know what and how much we can expect this summer (so that our hopes will not be too high ;) ). Thanks and cheers
{Ed002's Note - I really don't want to get in to the whole issue surrounding money. Chelsea like all clubs need to move toward being self-sufficient - and they are aware that they need to do this. As such, in order to bring players in the club needs to look to raising as much as they can through sales. Add to that the significant investment in youngsters and this might coming season might well be the last with spending outstripping sales as Chelsea do need to invest in a couple of forwards.}

Callejon will not be joining, you can bet your house on that. What Ed doesn't seem to understand that club and Mourinho for that matter don't see forwards=strikers. Ed thinks the club see Callejon as a forward which in his mind means a striker which is wrong. Callejon IS a forward (AM) but he's NOT a striker and that's why he won't be joining us.
{Ed002's Note - Callejon is one of the players Chelsea has been looking at. I apologise for sharing anything like that with you as I am obviously again wasting my time.}
