There is interest in him from elsewhere and Marseille are willing to sell - if Chelsea wish to rekindle interest it would need to be soon - and their focus is elsewhere right now. So not totally out of the question.}

Damn, I'd much rather the club go after Imbula than Allan (who seems to be the target right now. The last player we bought from Marseille turned out to be a huge player, and I'm not even talking about Drogba :-)

Could you gives us an update on Chelsea's possible transfer targets and departing players?

{Ed002's Note - Some of this will change by the summer and there are major dependencies on (a) players leaving, and (b) how much money the club can raised through sales. However, there is known to be (or have recently been) some level of interest in the following players fairly recently:
GK: Kalinic, Ruddy, Green
RB: Darmain (won't happen if Ivanovic signs an extension), Manea (he will go on loan when he joins in the summer)
LB: Gaya if Felipe Luis were to leave.
CB: Varane, Balanta (unlikely), Marquinhos won't happen as he has signed a new contract.
DM: Leander Dendoncker (effectively a Romeu replacement)
M: Pogba (will be very difficult), Koke (will be difficult), Youri Tielemans (would go on loan but is more likely heading elsewhere), Sinkgraven (perhaps in 2017 as he has moved to Ajax from Heerenveen for his development), Khedira (very unlikely), Gerson (looking for partial ownership deal initially), Gomes (price remains an issue), Jose Mauri (probable but then a loan)
AM/W/F: Icardi (preferable but looking a little unlikely), Dybala (possible option if a deal for Icardi can't be done), Kenedy (will be a battle to get him but certainly possible), Lee (won't happen), Kishna (unlikely), Bakkali (I suspect Chelsea has stepped back from their previous interest), Talisca (perhaps 2016), Bellarabi (most unlikely), Pedro (unlikely), Malcom (won't happen in the short term), Douglas Costa (likely but there is interest from elsewhere), Anderson (there is interest from elsewhere and Lazio don't want to sell), Nathan (a work permit at this stage would be unlikely so a loan in Europe would be the probable way forward if he were to sign. Chelsea have had someone from the Academy in Singapore watching Muto at the last couple of games - as have Bayer Leverkusen.
Enquiries have been made for Cech by Monaco, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Roma (who are looking elsewhere) and Arsenal. Ivanovic is of interest to PSG and possibly a club from Spain. Luis is of interest to Atletico if he were available. Uli Dávila may well make his loan from Chelsea to Vitória permanent. Romeu is of interest to Stuttgart and Piazon to Frankfurt, Moses to Stoke and others. Kakuta and Marin will leave. Drogba will not be part of the squad next season. Remy is of interest to Crystal Palace. Oscar may be sacrificed. That is all I can think of right now. Salah's loan is quite complex but there are options for Fiorentina to extend the loan for another year this summer and an option to buy the player for an already agreed fee in the summer of 2016. Roma has registered interest in the player if he becomes available this summer. Marco van Ginkel is of interest to Ajax but they would look to a loan as he would likely be out of their price range to buy. Other loanees will be looked at in the summer.}

Yes! Good news on the Koke front :)
Apparently Andre Gomes said that he's fully committed to Valencia and that he really wants to stay there, so he'd probably be hard to get. Especially since his price is an issue (as the eds have mentioned).
So let's hope there can be some progress with regards to Koke and Pogba instead.

Just a quick one . If say we was to agree a deal for koke would that mean we wouldn't go for Pogba. It 1 or the other or two separate matters.

I think Chelsea has chosen it's timing wisely. Any earlier and other teams may have got involved, a bidding war. Late in the window most have done there business and barca can't get involved. Look for 2 more bids. I think Oscar and Ramires are missing for a reason. More to come!
