Hi Ed, any interest in Wanyama? He could be a good back up for Matic, at least better than Mikel.
{Ed002's Note - Interest of Chelsea is probably speculative as they have been looking for a defensive midfield player with no luck so far. Donsah and Allan were both at one time close to a move whilst it became clear quite quickly that both Dendoncker and Kondogbia were not going to happen. With interest from elsewhere in Romeu - and the club unable to assure him first team football - they agreed to move to Southampton. Spurs do remain keen on Wanyama and may return in January with another offer. Whilst Southampton don't want to sell they may be tempted as the player is not keen on agreeing a new contract. Unless Southampton consider they have sufficient cover, they will likely resist a move in January. From the perspective of the player, it would be better to hold on for the summer when his value would be less and he may well have better choices available to him as he seeks Champions League football. Right now he would be priced out of a move to anywhere other than an English side or an elite and financial well off European side. Previous interest of Arsenal and both of the Manchester clubs has gone for now.}

Hi Ed, been a couple of weeks since you updated your big list of interesting players to CFC and those who could potentially move on - wondered if there had been any noteable changes?

Hi Ed, a) is it true that we are going to send a bid for Cuadrado or Lucas Ocampos? B) Are we still interested in Imbula? He has been great this season for Marseille and I rather have him over Khedira. C) do you think that we are going to make negotiations in January?

{Ed002's Note - (a) Ocampos is for sale and has been offered to Chelsea. I am not aware of interest. Cuadrado is of interest, an auction is not. (b) Chelsea and Marseille have no discussed Imbulla for some time and Marseille are not expecting an approach from Chelsea. An enquiry was made regarding Imbulla by Arsenal fairly recently. (c) Chelsea are looking for players for next summer and if the option is there to pay in January and take delivery in the summer - then they will.}

I don't think we need to add anything in January tbh! I'm very happy with the overall balance of the team. Now I would like to see sammy khedira replace mikel ideally for free in the summer but if it had to be January I wouldn't complain.

Hi Ed, I have been wondering, what happens if Drogba AND Remy leave in the summer? I can imagine that Griezmann will be one of the replacements, but he is not a pure striker, does the club sees him purely as a winger or AM?
In that case I think we will still be short of strikers. Are any other new players considered? especially given the fact that lacazette, icardi and dybala look very difficult to sign.

After hearing salah's rumours about leaving on loan this window, what is the plan of the club? His departure would leave us very thin in that area with only hazard, willian, oscar and schurrle and eventually cesc and remy (he has played LW before).
Are we going to bring someone back like piazon or atsu to fill that void? or someone like boga, baker or brown is going to be the 5th choice AM? Is the club thinking about someone from the outside to replace salah?
The worst case would be that Jose starts using Ramires as RW in my opinion.

1.) I'd like Baker and Boga get some opportunities, they could do the 5th choice role pretty easily, Salah gets next to no time anyway so it wouldn't be a large loss

Completely agree with Aron. Salah hasn't been getting any time as it is. Boga has been tearing up pretty much whatever is put in front of him so he could start recieving some time. We have a log jam in that area as it is so I'd rather not add to that by purchasing another player.

If we are looking at Allan at the moment, is his move to Inter off? I remember that you said that any move to Chelsea was unlikely. Would love to have him here.
