Okay, so we're all excited about RLC, CHO, James, Mount, Timorri, Abraham's etc but very few mention Chritsienssen.

So with that in mind Ed01, do you have any string opinions on him as a player.

For me, his potential is very high.

{Ed001's Note - I liked him in his season in the Bundesliga, he was excellent and showed massive potential. Since then his confidence has disintegrated and he has not been anything like the same player. There is something there though, someone just has to get the potential turned to actuality.}

Thanks ed.

I tend to agree that his form relates to confidence.

He's clearly good in possession, but I'm no expert on defensive play. He looks like he reads the game very well, and his tackles are clean and decisive. But I wonder about his strength in the air and concentration.

{Ed001's Note - his physical strength altogether looked his weak link to me, but that is something that can be worked on fairly easily.}

Indeed, physical strength and confidence are about the only things that become better in my opinion. Though with regards to confidence he started looking better already after Rudiger's injury, when he started more matches.

Christensen is actually pretty good at aerials.

I can see him continuing to progress, so am excited to see.

AC RLC and (hopefully) CHO in the first team regularly not to mention the rest. And they say that the Chelsea academy is window dressing.

You guys (Ed001 and Jackson) are on point about Christensen's physical strength- that is what I think is his main if not his only downside. Physical strength is very essential for a central defender.

{Ed001's Note - I do wonder why it has not been addressed to be honest. Work on his power to improve his recovery pace and it would increase his strength too, both very helpful attributes for a centre-back.}
