If CHO doesn’t sign a new contract, which I’m still not convinced that he will, think we should make a bid for Sancho next summer? Ideally I want CHO to stay, but if he doesn’t I think Sancho would be an ideal replacement.

He'll sign a new deal.

Spot on “J”. He will be signing a new contract.

I’ve wanted Sancho for ages. Him and CHO are best mates as well, them too along with Pulisic and were sorted out Wide.

Sancho is a special player, isn’t the fastest wide man compared to others but his ability 1 v 1 and delivery is top class. Ed’s can I ask the situation with Sancho. Not so much regarding us but surely a lot of teams would be interested and are Dortmund prepared to sell any time soon.

{Ed001's Note - they are not looking to sell him but any big offer will have to be listened to.}

I think the prospect of working with Lamps next year would be too good for him to turn down. Forgive me if I’m wrong but I believe he’s a boyhood Chelsea fan also. Working alongside James, RLC and CHO would also attract him I think. Let’s hope he has another good year of hitting double figures in goals and assists. Dortmund is the best place for him this season though I don’t think he’ll move somewhere like United and he definitely won’t go back to City with the talent they possess.

Well who knows, we are forced to play young players and go with an English / homegrown core and no doubt save a huge amount with no investment this / next window maybe he would see us as a good route back into the premier league Pulisic can play left right and 10 so could accommodate him. How highly do you rate him ed. Flash in the pan or shining in a good league but not ready for prem or can he go all the way .

TomB and J. ; are you guys being optimistic about Hudson Odoi signing a new deal? or are you speaking from a point of knowledge (I mean- are you certain that he will sign an extension? )

Other than Hudson-Odoi I don't see much coming out of the youth system that'll fill this position in the next couple of years - maybe Gallagher. With Pedro and Willian coming to the end of their respective times at the club I imagine it's somewhere we will have to invest in post transfer ban.

Sancho would be great to rotate with Hudson-Odoi and Pulisic. I'm also keen to see how Ademola Lookman develops at Everton this year, he looks good, and underused, to me.

Bit of optimism, bit of going by the more trustworthy reporters - according to them it's a matter of when, not if, he signs the deal.

BBC are reporting today that he is hopeful of signing a new deal at the club too - rather than the club being hopeful that he'll sign it.
