Ed001, seeing that so many strikers are moving to big clubs this summer, which striker do you think Chelsea should target next summer, keeping in mind Lampard's style?
I was looking at Piatek, Moussa Dembele and Lautaro Martinez, so if you could tell us about these three strikers or any other striker who would suit us, we would be extremely grateful.
{Ed001's Note - to be honest, if he wasn't such a dick, Icardi would be the perfect player for Chelsea. But that personality has to rule him out.
Timo Werner is another who would be interesting but for his hearing issues that affect him in loud stadiums, last thing you need as it means he has to wear ear plugs so won't hear shouts etc.
Piatek, Kean and Lacazette would be the ones I would look to. Though Martinez is a good shout too. Lacazette would be exceptional for Chelsea, he is wasted at Arsenal.
I am not sure about Dembele, he is good but I am not convinced he is good enough.}

I thought Werner is all but done to Bayern, so I didn't mention him (as per Ed002).
I always felt Juventus were making a mistake selling Kean but I never knew he was this good.
{Ed001's Note - I was thinking out loud about players that would suit with Werner really.
Kean and Juve are having problems. He is unhappy with the response to him getting racially abused and then told he was partly at fault, understandably. Juve have arsed it up and made a complete mess of things.}

Yes, I followed that saga. Juventus should have handled that much better.

Think Piatek is the one if he has another quality season he is a beast and looks up to the task. I know it’s different to the prem but Werner gives me Morata vibes. But who knows next year a new striker might burst into the scene 🤷ðŸ¼â€â™‚ï¸.

Kean is someone I'd be really interested in. Less polished than Lautaro perhaps, but he looks like a real worker and a physical beast.
Also knows where the goal is.
And I agree with Ed as well on Lacazette. He'd be ideal probably. Stronger than his build would have you believe, good technique in linking up and his finishing is Aguero-esque with how he just shoots is really early and fast. Gives keepers little chance to set and just blasts is. To me it's quite clear he's Arsenal's best striker, so doubt they'd let him go though.
If Kean moves this summer he won't be available. But Lautaro and Dembélé would be interesting as well if they became available. Or Haller if we get CL and he transitions well to PL football. Perfect Giroud replacement.
