I guess that 'Manager Lampard' is indeed working overtime to build an English national team at Chelsea which explains why he's picking a half fit midfielder (Mason Mount) ahead of a fully fit winger (Christian Pulisic) - for a wing position against a big team like Liverpool.

Does anyone know whether there is any ongoing discussion between the FA and EPL about (increasing? ) minimum number of players qualified to play for England in Premier League teams/ squads? Have heard some mention of this in recent years but perhaps just unfounded rumours.
{Ed002's Note - There has never been such a discussion regarding player qualified to play for England and there is no "minimum number" at the moment.}
