CHO has taken some slack over his performance vs Ajax. However, some fans need to understand he is only 18 years old. For an 18 year old he is full of confidence and he will only get better.

As for the previous thread regarding wingers, I think we are in good hands with CHO and Pulisic. However, if both Willian and Pedro leave then for me we should keep an eye on Sancho and Ziyech from Ajax. I would stay away from Neres.

Hi Ed001 good morning; what are your thoughts on Samuel Chukwueze as a winger?

{Ed001's Note - he has potential but he is just a kid and you already have enough young wingers, you need someone ready now to replace Willian and Pedro. I am assuming you are referring to that role? If so you really need someone ready made to drop in and help Hudson-Odoi, Pulisic etc achieve their potential.}

Yes Ed001 you are spot on, I meant someone that will replace Willian and Pedro.

{Ed001's Note - that's what I thought. It is nice having young starlets, but you need the odd bit of experience to guide them. That 'team of kids' that everyone seems to think United won the league with was actually packed with experienced players.}

Thankyou Ed001.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome mate.}

25 Oct 2019 15:13:17
Who do you think in you’re opinion is now best to replace Willian or Pedro Ed?

{Ed001's Note - someone like Emil Forsberg or Douglas Costa, possibly. Looking at it, there are not a lot of good options out there. You might even be better sticking with what you have. Though Timo Werner (if the noise thing is not too much of a problem) has played wide as well as through the middle in the past. Perhaps someone like him, who can push Abraham centrally and add options wide? Just gives a bit more flexibility to Lampard when picking his team.}

What about Depay, Thauvin, Suso, Inaki Williams or Felipe Anderson, Ed001?

{Ed001's Note - Depay if he is at it could be a decent option. Not convinced by Thauvin. Suso is a good shout, nice lad too. Inaki Williams always seems to be on the peripheral whenever I see him so not sure. As for Felipe Anderson I would avoid. Plenty of talent but flatters to deceive often going missing when he is needed or just running into blind alleys constantly.}

25 Oct 2019 16:53:00
Since you called Suso a nice lad Ed, is there something about him I am unaware of?

{Ed001's Note - no mate I just knew him at Liverpool. Only through friends like but he was treated badly by managers there.}

25 Oct 2019 17:36:15
What are you’re thoughts on Sancho Ed?

{Ed001's Note - got a lot to learn. I have worries about his attitude personally, the hype might be going to his head. He was late back after England duty. Ability is there but he needs to keep his feet on the ground and remember playing well in short cameos does not make him a worldbeater.}

25 Oct 2019 18:16:18
Your earlier comment ED01 about us maybe sticking with what we have is exactly what I have been saying. CHO and Pulisic are special talents and they have Willian pushing them as well. Mount can play wide as well and when Ruben returns alongside Jorginho and Kante I could see Lamps playing him in one of the wide positions.

{Ed001's Note - exactly. You don't really need to spend just show faith.}

25 Oct 2019 19:36:21
Mount is average out wide you should start watching games lad.

26 Oct 2019 00:22:59
Definitely wouldn’t want mount to play out wide. Happy enough for him to do so in desperate situations this season but come next season id rather we had a seasoned winger to fall back on if both Willian and Pedro depart.

Exactly fuser, swear some people don’t watch us just come on here with awful opinions.
