He said the same about Mendy too. Be interesting next few weeks. Raul Jimenez is another striker I highly rate and he’d be perfect for us. But unfortunately we haven’t been linked and we’d be talking 50 million plus.

If we swap giroud or they get a replacement and dembele pushes for the move maybe they would be willing to sell.

Cheers ed, lots of talk about Werner and a so called release clause, heavily linked and you said previously Chelsea interest, only couple days in and with talk of no release clause stories saying he won’t be moving - only social media and journalists so forgive me.

We did buy Torres in a January window and Liverpool had to seek a replacement and luckily they found Andy Carroll :0)
