I wish. Soumare is really good, and would be an exciting partner to either Kovacic or Kante in a 2 man midfield.

Could he play as the holding player in a 3 though or is he too box to box and not disciplined enough?

He's more box to box. Anyway i doubt there's anything in it. Reckon he's a player we're monitoring and we'll only go for him if either Kante or Jorginho are sold. So i wouldn't read much into this.

I’d definitely prefer a more disciplined defensive midfielder to replace Jorginho. Lisandro Martinez would be my choice, fantastic versatility too.
