Credit to Barkley who i thought was really good. His had a tough time of late with adverse media.

Exactly! Think he's had some very iffy games this season, and the FA-cup game from him wasn't that impressive although he scored.
Today he had the guts to drive the ball forwards, play some offensive passes and, although he didn't shoot when he had a few opportunities, he still got something very good out of it and instead found some very nice passes.
I actually think he perhaps deserves to start the next game as well!

I agree. He deserves to start next game. He did all the right things and hopefully he can kick on.

i did post earlier that for me the players who deserve special praise after today’s game are cho, james, barkley and tammy.
let’s hope we can now go on a consistent run. four of our next five premiership games will probably be crucial to our final league position.

Spot on Tom. Tammy definitely should have had more goals. Once he gets that right he will be phenomenal.
I thought Willian was also really good. He has actually been arguably one of our best performers this year. His been a joy to watch.

That’s hard to argue with Shak, he has generally been top drawer!
I suppose Tammy would be top of most lists although Kovacic had a string of superb games.

Also you said in one of your earlier posts that our next 5 games are crucial in determining our final position. I couldn't disagree.
