Hi guys,
Some of you may have seen previously that I work in a&e in my local hospital. I just wanted to say that I hope all of my fellow posters and all of the eds are staying safe and remain in good health!
It really is imperative that we all follow the advice laid out by the government and PHE in regards to social distancing and isolation! Please, for yours and your family's safety only travel if absolutely paramount! I know its difficult locking children up in the house when they're out of schools etc. But it really is a necessary evil! I can't remember the last time I saw someone outside of work apart from at the shop for essentials.
Also thank every single one of you, and the rest of the general public for the amazing support that has been shown towards the NHS. It really is absolutely incredible how the general community has gotten behind us. I've seen countless unemotional members of staff cry over the kindness being shown to them.
Finally, please steer clear of hospital unless you really do need urgent treatment. As much as we follow PPE procedures and clean constantly, hospitals are a breeding place for infection, they always have been! Help us help you, and please, stay safe everyone!

cech118, you and you fellow NHS workers really are heroes and you all deserve all of our unreserved appreciation.
I would also like to thank all essential workers who are making our current predicament easier to manage.
I truly hope that when this nightmare ends and it will, every single one of you get a massive bonus.
