Yea Kenny and Zouma is by far our smartest and most reliable defender. Rudiger causes nothing but panic.

Agree Dubliner just posted a separate post before I seen you’re comment I’ve said it for months how good he is. For me he’s 3rd best CB in the league behind Van Dijk and Laporte. He wins everything aerially and 1v1.

I wouldn't go as far as saying he's 3rd best in the league but he's definitely our best defender. I enjoyed watching Fik earlier on in the season also but he needs time to develop further. I think the team is missing a leader like we've all mentioned. I'm not sure where we'd get such a player and what position he'd slot into. My preference would be a new keeper that's vocal and full of character and able to command the box and keep our CB switched on. I think the club know what they're doing to be honest and will address the issues sooner rather than later. I'm not sure kepa will leave but I can see us getting a left back in and a new CB. I feel Tomori might be loaned and they'll try sell Rudiger.

Obinna, you mentioned that Giroud looks a born Chelsea player. I spoke to a former footballer who does European scouting for Chelsea now and he told me he recommended Giroud to the Club 10 years ago. Life's all about ifs and buts!
