In ziyech and Werner we've got two superb signings, fair play to the club, in there early and secured. But when we look at what's needed there could be 3/ 4/ 5 signings, Willian Pedro Michy jorginho emerson maybe Giroud and I don't know about the keeper situation but we still have some building to do, a GK CB LB CM DM ST, not saying we will go and buy 6 players but areas that could be strengthen or competition.

Liverpool's defence looks shambles before the arrival of vvd and ab in goal . We probably too are just a couple of good signings away.

Dave has been our only consistently good defender after he had a few weak games right at start of season. If he had been on the right last night with a very good defensive LB - or we had prepared for game with three CBs and two wing backs - we may have stood a chance, if also Giroud up front. We have always been strongest when we have had a CF who can cope with physicality of especially some of the tough defending 'lower' sides in terms of supposed overall qualities. Another way of looking at it is which available defenders of that kind can we realistically get to the Bridge!
