I wasn’t happy when Courtois was sold.
I think we will regret selling Kepa but his current form is a major concern.

Here’s a pelter why do you accept such poor players like Kepa and Jorginho in our team. Them two as part of our spine?
Also regret selling Kepa why?
Never had a good save percentage? Doesn’t come for crosses? Doesn’t give his defence confidence? Has weak wrists where he can’t stop shots straight at him?
There’s no positivity signs there. Kepa is living off a couple of good penalty shootouts against Spurs and Frankfurt last season apart from that he’s done nothing. I remember watching him against Arsenal in his first home debut game and 2 shots that should have been saved. Only time I have any confidence in him is in a penalty shootout.
Get him out on loan with an obligation to but as no one else is stupid enough to pay for him. Then get a solid goalkeeper in like Nick Pope. Set pieces are our biggest worry Pope would solve a lot of them coming for the ball and he’s never had a save percentage lower than 71%. Fans just need to admit now without being awful he simply isn’t good enough.

lol Matt don't remind us of those days man. I felt like we had signed the best GK who would eclipse Cech. At one point it felt like Kepa was thriving and Courtous was struggling at RM.
I still blame Courtois for going AWOL. Its because of him our board rushed the situ and prepared the buy out clause.
Sadly for us, Courtous is thriving at RM and we are stuck with Kepa for now. Tables have turned drastically.

(a) I didn’t mention Jorginho!
(b) As far as Kepa is concerned i have clearly stated his current form is a concern but I also just offered my opinion that we will regret selling him.
Many years ago I offered the same opinion about Salah, KDB and just to prove I’m not always right I said the same about Morata and Chalaboa.

i disagree we were all furious he left rather than be happy but we had to apreciate how good he was and why he made the move to madrid for his family and you have to respect that decision. i don't think anybody was generally happy with kepa from day 1 simply because none of us knew him or ever seen him stand out we were stuck for a keeper in my opinion and bilbao took full advantage of knowing we were desperate to sign a keeper.

I don’t think people were mad at Courtois for leaving but rather the manner of his exit as it left the club in an awful position at the time. Kepa happened and I think we all know how that’s gone.
