The thing that really irked me is why didn't we see one single replay of whether the Arsenal keeper was out of his box when he caught that ball?
Why didn't VAR check that second yellow for Kovacic, Xhaka was the one who had his foot on top of Kovacic in that challenge.
I'm not denying we weren't good enough today, but the VAR and refereeing decisions were horrendous!
{Ed047's Note - it was clear from the commentary they did check it, Martinez was outside the box but the ball wasn't.
They don’t replay every decision or incident.

Saw a screenshot image from what looked like the VAR room or something similar which showed him catching the ball outside of his area. Could see daylight between the ball and 18 yard line. Not sure if it’s a red card offence for a keeper to handle outside the area or not though.
{Ed047's Note - if you’d just watched it on the BBC at no time was the ball out of the area.

I did watch it on the bbc Ed and was impossible to tell watching live. No relay shown so no way of knowing for sure. Not sure what you saw.
{Ed047's Note - the still that showed the ball not crossing the line, they would have made something of it had the ball gone out of the penalty area.

Not hoping for anything Ed, you boys deserved it from the 5 min onwards, I was unsure “if†he had handled outside of the box, if it was a red card offence or not as I honestly don’t know the rule on that one.
