We all feel strong passions about football and our team but I think we should all try and be constructive and polite in our replies to one another.
In the past we have have posters making personal remarks about individual players and using terms such as "deadwood" to describe groups of players.
Our sight is not alone in using this negative and abusive language. I don't care who the person is they should NEVER IMO be referred to in those terms.
When our team gets beat it's understandable that we get angry and in the main the posts on this site are constructive while being critical. Can I just suggest ladies and gentlemen we try and be careful about the words we use to describe players and one another!

Agreed TomB. In the heat of the moment I can also get carried away with the criticism of our players, especially Kepa yesterday.
But when you step back and think things through, poor Kepa must be beating himself up with the mistakes he's been making. He's just a human being, he steps out onto that pitch to do his best, and unfortunately things just haven't gone his way.
Just imagine if you were in his shoes, he knows the fans and pundits are all on his back. Just waiting to pounce on him yet again. It's a horrible situation for him and his confidence must be shot.

Bobby, Kepa has deserved a lot of the criticism and yesterday he did make another mistake but overall that was one his better games.
The Neville criticism about Kepa and the Scousers comments about Havertz are boring and on occasions outrageous.

one of his better games! he directly cost us a goal and arguably played a part in christensens red card.

unfortunately, at this point any further game he plays will do more damage than good to the boy. he's just simply not good enough to be top 4 premier league keeper no shame in it. needs a move away asap and start again somewhere with less pressure.

An obvious mistake by him for the second goal, although I have seen people blame Jorginho as well for not making more of an angle for the attempted pass.
Christensen’s rugby tackle can’t IMO be blamed on Kepa unless your name is Neville and then everything is Kepa’s fault.
I actually pity and feel sad for the lad. He must know what people think and say about him. I would hate it if it was me!
{Ed001's Note - I hate to disagree as it would mean I was agreeing with Neville, but Kepa was very slow off his line. I think he is partly at fault.}

All about opinions Ed but I’m right as always! Haha!
{Ed001's Note - if you watch it again, just look at his starting point, he is far too deep as well. That is something that has been a consistent problem with him, which is why I find him an odd buy. He just doesn't suit the way you play. You need one who is starting too far forward if anything. Better to run the risk of being lobbed once in a while than running the risk of those kind of balls in behind the defence, which will come at least once a game when you play a high line.}

The way he has been playing he could get lobbed standing on his goal line.
Anyway, we were to deep in general play yesterday IMO trying to take space away from a Liverpool front line that
has excellent movement.
{Ed001's Note - well Jordan Pickford managed it so it is possible.}

TomB, can't we even call Drinkwater 'deadwood'?

MDW, maybe it’s just me but I hate THAT description of anyone.
I always look at these descriptions of players and think I wonder if his son or daughter read these comments.
And yes, my guess is you are being cantankerous!
