Great comeback yesterday and a good point considering we were 3 down.
My point is this. Frank comes and out and rightly slates Alonso and Silva but what about Willy in goal? The same with the SKY pundits? Willy should of saved at least 2 of those and had that been Kepa a witchhunt would of started. Don't get me wrong, Kepa is not good enouth but nor is Willy. Mendy will make a huge difference but I also think we need a back up for him as well. Also, if Tammy tucks in that sitter from a world class cross from Reece James at 1 down we win the game. Pulisic, Chilwell, Mendy and Ziech to come in plus maybe 1 more, Olive updated me as you know. CHO looked good as well so maybe Frank will trust him a bit more as this boy has talent.
Anyway, this season will be like no other and for me, it is all up for grabs. Liverpool are on a different level but not much between the other contenders and I fancy us to get in the mix. glass half full for me.

Kepa could be on the bench for the remainder of the season and Neville would be a boring, nauseating, self opinionated t•at but still be better than the spitting scouser.

Brilliant post G8. I felt Willy was at fault too but It was bizarre that no criticism was made.

I felt the first goal went through Caballero, but the perfectly cushioned header to the attacker by Alonso was such bad play it took the spotlight off him. Same with the Silva mistake, it's so obvious it takes the spotlight off the keeper. The third goal was just terrible all round.
Pundits get agendas, both positive and negative, which are often wrong. One example being when every pundit in the country thought Moses was the next Cafu. Or, as recently discussed on here, constantly calling Kante a defensive midfielder.

You could argue that he could have done something for the first goal, but it went right in the corner and it was very hard to keep. WC wasn't at fault for the other goals.
Nonetheless, you can't expect a 37 y. o keeper to have cat like reflexes, that's why we bought Mendy.
