I don’t think he’s clueless I would say more naive and stubborn. He tries to force certain tactics and certain players in instead of doing what makes sense even to people with no experience like us. I think Christensen and Zouma was always going to be a mistake like it had been every single time. I also thought it was the wrong game to introduce Ziyech as we needed to hold on to the win and I think Callum deserved another change to come on and continue his good work from the last few games. Also don’t understand why the subs took so long when we were getting outplayed and looked exhausted and also why Kovacic wasn’t introduced to try and calm the game down. Super frustrated with this result, probably more than any in a while as we started absolutely amazing and it should’ve been so comfortable. I’ll say it again though, you can’t blame Frank for stupid schoolboy mistakes.

I’m so sick of posting about individual errors. Mental weakness is a problem that has to be addressed in some way.
The Zouma/ Kepa fiasco is beyond belief.

He needed to change things after about 60mins. They were strolling through the middle of us, I thought the midfield needed shoring up, but we had limited options on the bench and James came in far too late. Pulisic looked like he was running on fumes for a while before coming off, I think CHO could have been effective in the second half. The Abraham sub offered nothing from a tactical standpoint.
But, he'll quite rightly point towards individual mistakes once again costing us. Havertz for the first goal, Zouma and Kepa making an unbelievable mess for the second and I though Kepa could / should have got something on the third.

Agrees J. We were doing virtually nothing in midfield in the second half and a change was definitely needed.
The Zouma/ Kepa horror show was a joke but I’m not sure Kepa could have some much about the 3rd. If I remember correctly I think that move started from a rash foul from Zouma.
