I managed to get myself to watch MOTD and only on the basis of Timo Werner who was superb today. Usually I don't bother with MOTD when we lose or draw as I can't put myself through anymore frustration.
Anyway Timo was scintillating.

I feel with Timo as our striker we will be fine this season. His goals yesterday are only unique to his style of play.
From an attacking perspective we looked fantastic in the 1st half. Timo, Kai and Pulisic were so good and its scary to think that they haven't even gelled yet. Our attack with Ziyech (when gelled) is going straight to the top 🔥
Obviously disappointed with the 2nd half but there are good signs out there and signs that the players are starting to gel.
I was disappointed with Lampards game management and perhaps the other things mentioned by other posters but I'm sure he knows that himself and he will learn and improve. Lifes hard for any manager when you have a POOR goalkeeper. Kepa is something else guys, the 2nd and 3rd goals most likely do not go in if we have Mendy. Clubs are adopting a shoot on site policy with Kepa.
I'm definitely in support of Frank, sometimes as a fan you feel so frustrated. But his 5 games in, there are some positive signs and the club will and should give him a nice run until Christmas. I'm confident Silva and Mendy help the defensive issues. I'm sure by then we will be amongst the top sides so there won't be any issues.

And what makes me laugh the most is all the fans saying our front line is showing signs of gelling
Well our fookin defence ain't and he has most of those players for over a season so take off blue tinted glasses and wake up he has taken us backwards.

There were 16 other teams who would have bitten their arms off to finish 4th last season. Also, at the start of last season the vast majority of fans would have said Champions league qualification would be fantastic but a top six was more realistic.
We all want success, none more so than Lamps. I want us to improve on last season and I’m the same as you Shak, I will continue to support our manager.

Gianfranco I can't argue with your post mate. Stats are stats end of the day. He is 60 games in and yes our defence is still poor - 100%. I emphasised that quite a lot yesterday. Some fans would say under his leadership our defenders and GK have gone worse.
But I'd prefer to give him a fair chance with the players his bought in. End of the day these players signed up for his project so they need time.
60 games in but he definitely deserves more than 5 games with the players he bought. i don't think we should compare this season to last season on the basis that he has tools to achieve success now. I'll be the 1st to say 'out the door' if by december we are mid table.
But I am losing my patience slowly. He does seem tactically inept and has shown in the 2nd half Vs Spurs and Southampton that his being outwitted by rival managers constantly. But I'm hoping this is part of the transition he talks about always.
I'm hoping he can turn it around, I want to give him more than 5 games and maybe I am clutching in straws.

Good post shak mate I 100% agree but I'm past giving him any more time
Just my opinion he needs to start winning and keeping clean sheets
Look after yourself mate and try and enjoy another wasted weekend lol

I had to shut my business down this friday C.V. rules and the 1 thing I was looking forward to apart from family of course was watching the chels with all there new exciting players stuffing a mid table team
But we were 2 nil up and cruising
There manager made a slight Tactical change and they were all over us in secong half
What did Frank do to combat this he brought on reece James to play in midfield he's never played there before for us at this level
Another prime example of shoe Horning players in
Him and azpi were all over the place
Which was a shame coz azpi had a very good game before that change
Don't even get me started on mount
Why does he play every game all different positions at the expense of better players
Plus silva didn't play because he played midweek
Surly mount has played more football in the last couple of months than any player on planet he is the 1 who should be resting
All in all we don't look or play like a team that knows the structure or philosophy of what the team should be doing, 11 individuals just winging it and that is the manager and coaching staffs job to sort out
Now I'm going to sign on lol enjoy your weekend boys and hopefully a better performance on tuesday.

Fair enough Gianfranco, as I say your opinion is sound mate because maybe 50% or more of the fanbase are with you on social media and want Lampard out.

Would be nice Shak for lots of reasons, I just think we will get stuffed on Tuesday and next weekend and I’m usually an optimist.
