Didn't watch the game (date night with Mrs J. ), but I see a clean sheet, an apparent good performance from Mendy again and I'm happy.
It seems the coaching staff are taking the defensive side of the game more seriously. Build a strong defensive foundation and build attacking play around that.

Mendy was just solid. If it was Kepa fans would say the shots he saved were unsaleable but Mendy made them look routine. Which is what makes it so better after what we’re use to. Comes out and claims everything as well tbh so I think he will be long term number 1.
Thought Mendy, James and Chilwell were all excellent. Thiago Silva MOTM. Monster.
Kante is my main worry.

I've said it before Graham, I think Kante's time at the club is coming to a natural conclusion. He's still a great player, but he looks a round peg being forced into a square hole in this team.
Whilst here he starts every game, he's too go not to, but I think we'll see the midfield evolve before next season; when he might no longer be part of it.
