I would love to be watching the MIGHTY BLUES playing football that is pleasing to the eye.
The reality is over a season most top teams grind out lots of results when not playing well. "It's what good teams do".
We won 4-0 and yes, for a large % of the game it wasn't good to look at but I would take a win, no matter how it comes any day of the week.
If we beat Burnley at the weekend I won't be caring how we did it, I will just be happy with the points. Pleasing the eye becomes secondary to the points for me!

It was a tough game Tom. I felt our cb's and pivots (J5 and Kovacic) were passing short amongst each other far too many times. That set the tone of our slow play. Credit to Lampard as I could hear him shout faster many times.
Substitutions and 433 killed the game off. As soon as Pulisic, Kante and Mount came on the intention was clear. None of these short passes, it was about driving with the ball and passing up the field.

I agree Shak and for a large part it wasn’t very pleasing on the eye.
The lad Mount gets pelters from some fans but when he plays just behind the striker we look so more aggressive.
We now have three wingers fit (hope CHO isn’t bad) and we are just showing signs of becoming a good unit.
We are stringing some clean sheets together and that’s never bad. Let’s hope for another one at the weekend.
