Pulisic still struggling with injury - Out of Sheffield United game, no surprise.

Yes Matt, predictable but sad. His muscle injury problems will need ongoing very careful management.

To be honest, he has had these injuries his entire career. He had large spells injured at Dortmund too. There isn't much you can do when a player is injured a lot other than careful management.

I'd rather he takes as long as possible out to strengthen his muscles and overcome these injuries even if it means he plays a very limited role this season.

I’m not sure Pulisic is ever going to recover from these injuries. I can see the club targeting a traditional 9 next summer who is physical and can hold the ball up well I. e Haaland. Werner could play Left Wing off Haaland as Haaland is so strong and holds the ball up well. Tammy doesn’t offer that for someone of his size.

Werner can play wide, but we have Cho pulisic ziyech as wingers, we need another winger in my opinion especially if these injuries are some common,

Even Moses would have been handy this year instead of loaning. He could have been 4th choice.

Graham76; don’t talk like that, of course he will be ok at some point. I guess there’s a lot we don’t know and there are lots of questions like:
* Is Pulisic’s injury a case of something that can be corrected permanently with a surgery but Chelsea would rather that option as last resort (probably cos of the length of time that he could be sidelined)?
* Or maybe the club would have him (Pulisic) back fit after the international break?
* Did he have surgery after he pulled his hamstring against Arsenal last season?

I feel (a hunch) Pulisic will be back after the international break.

Probably will obinna but for how long. 2 games? 3 maybe if we’re lucky. Appearance of the bench cos fitness, his becoming unreliable and can’t be counted on to stay fit - so it seems since his been here,

Graham I have also wondered why we're not already circling around Halaand. He's a rare breed of a striker and still young. Imo I would not mind selling Abraham and even Giroud for Halaand and rotate him with Werner. Werner can also operate from the wing to make up for Pulisic recurring injury issues. I rather Halaand to another winger as we already have many players who can play there.
Make no mistakes, he would cost a fortune but it'll be worth it over time. Expect Madrid and even United to also want to sign him but you may never know where he wants to go. Might see Madrid as too soon and we may just have a better appeal than United especially after snubbing them for Dortmund.
Would like Eds' input on this.

{Ed002's Note - Haarland is not joining Chelsea. His agent has his future well mapped out.}
