I'm going to be first to say it
Kevin tammy whatever his name is is a championship striker I can't think of many premiership teams he would improve
If we had purchased him last summer from Aston villa and he hadn't come through our youth ranks he would be getting dogs abuse on here for not being good enough he is crap end of.

{Ed0666's Note - I hope he comes good as he’s a really nice guy. I’m with you I’m not sure he’s at Chelsea in a season or two. At best he’s a benchwarmer. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up in Germany or somewhere like Arsenal.

I'm quite a strong supporter of Abraham's, and certainly think he's better than Championship level. But last night's performance was the most worrying I've seen from him.

He's not getting on the end of good balls in the box. The ball Werner put in at the end was only going one place, Abraham should have been on the end of it. Towards the end there was also a point when Azpilicueta could be heard shouting, 'easy, easy' at him. He tries flicks, tricks and skills when he just has to hold onto the ball and bring teammates into play.

Look, I've made this point before, but I'm sure Spurs would have loved someone like Tammy in their squad over the last couple of years when Kane has been injured. The problem for Tammy is he's not looking likely to be the main man at this level, will he be happier playing second fiddle here or starting for a team like Palace?

I too support Tammy and have concerns about his lack of progress this season.
A decision from both sides will need to be made about a new contract in the next 12 months max.
I would love him to stay if he can accept that he won't be an automatic first pick.
It will be tough to find a young world-class striker in the short term with other major clubs like City needing to replace ageing players .
Short term we should probably offer Giroud a further year and see how Werner/ Tammy develop in the next 12 months.

Here's a question, would people swap Abraham for Calvert-Lewin at the moment?

Currently yes a more complete player and the same age.
He has a lot more first team experience than Tammy and looked quite average up until Carlo arrived at the club.
Not sure he is good enough to be a first team regular though.

Ed 0666 I know I said he was crap but arsenal he ain't that bad lol
He reminds me of Danny wellbeck so much potential but just doesn't get there
I'm glad to hear he's a nice guy and I hope he does improve but I just can't see that bit of class and magic to be the very best.

{Ed0666's Note - me neither mate. I think he’s a better version of Danny Welbeck but still not good enough to be a great.
