Diego Costa is arguably one of my favourite players under the RA era. If he had stayed at the club then he would have broken records with us.
However, the way he left the club going AWOL is not something the club will forget or forgive. let's all be grateful of the legacy he created and stop worrying about a return when we have 3 strikers right now.

If I remember correctly, Costa left his relationship broke down Conte. After Conte sent him a message not to border coming back to the club which unfortunately made him decide to remain instead of coming back to the bridge. This doesn't justify his actions but even Conte didn't manage his departure properly.
I will take Costa back regardless especially as lack his kind in the squad. You don't need all the players being "oh yes" and require a strong character who has not over attitude. So yes to Costa for me.
