Everyone’s having a go at Lampard for playing Mount and at Mount for not being good enough. But if you look at our midfield options run they are:
Jorginho, Kante, Mount, Kovacic, Havertz and Gilmour.
Pretty much everyone wants Jorgi gone. Gilmour has only just come back from a 7-9 months injury and Havertz isn’t up to fitness as he’s still struggling with the long term effects of C.V..
Like I get how Mount might not be everyone’s cup of tea but Lampard doesn’t have much options and yet everyone lambasts him for it.

Should have tried Christensen there long time ago. Be good in midfield. Height and good on the ball.

Yeah and as soft as a melting butter. We need physicality as well as height in the middle, not just someone who can maybe do a job.

1 goal and 3 assists is all I read and his supposed to be the attacking minded player from Kante and Kovacic. Clearly, needs to up his game and make that final pass or score that goal. Started his Chelsea career on fire but has regressed imo.
