Interesting times, apparently Avram Grant could potentially join Frank Lampard's backroom team. I think Ed sort of hinted something of this kind previously.
In my opinion, if the above is true then it's an admission that there isn't full trust in the team Frank has gone with, and whilst that's maybe understandable. A seamless interim replacement at the club waiting in the wings, ramps the pressure up even further.

I don't see the problem we all need help from time to time
Avram grant seems a decent bloke but always came across as a abramovich man rathe than a Chelsea man
Eds do you think this is a backward step in modern game or a forward step in the knowledge he can pass on to frank.

Hard to know of these rumours are true but I suspect Frank won’t be pleased. Mind you he needs all the help he can get as he doesn’t seem to have a Plan B.

Would have been good if Frank could have jaf a Steve Holland or an AG assisting from start though would thonk he has plenty of connections in football world who could provide advice not least 'uncle Harry' redknapp?

I’m not sure if Frank is open to taking advice he is very rigid in his approach which may be his undoing.
