I just don't understand the media's constant attack on Werner and Havertz (jealousy? ) .
Werner needs to work on his 1st touch but 9 goals in 25 games for a 23 year old in his 1st season in the Prem isn't bad.
And anyone who has seen 21 year old Havertz can see what a fantastic player he will become. The way he glides across the pitch is a joy to watch (for the older posters, he reminds me of Osgood - and Osgood is a Chelsea legend) .
These 2 are a 23 year old and a 21 year old who have landed in England during a lockdown C.V. so that their only real contact with others is at training. Also, Havertz has contracted C.V. which has set him back.
I can't wait to see Werner and Havertz in front of a full crowd at the Bridge.

MDW spot on. and I have wondered who Havertz reminded me of and you are right that there's a bit of Ossie in there that as another oldie I can recall (hero worshipping him) when going to the Bridge as a kid.

Loved seeing Havertz getting into the box vs. Morecambe, first for the assist to Werner and second for his goal, which he really aggressively attacked to get on the end of - nice seeing that aggression from him.

Yes J it suggested he was gaining in confidence and adapting to the EPL.
