Just to make a few points on my perspective about the team I love. I have been a supporter for over 50 years. The theme of my posts are what our ambitions for the team are this season. When Chelsea got promoted to the old Division 1 in 1978 I was delighted. Since the RA era we have become a top team in the Premiership and in Europe. Before that it was Man U and Liverpool and to a lesser extent Arsenal. No team has a right to be at the top all the time but I am not ashamed to stay I want Chelsea to stay in the elite group. What concerns me is the fact that playing Leicester is now considered a big game for us. I would like to know what the targets are for the club this season, so at least the supporters would be able to judge the progress of the team. At present we seem to be a club with no ambition.

I think Leicester being a big game is more a case of them building themselves up into the elite group, rather than us falling out of it. The league is much, much more competitive than it was when Abramovic bought the club, and that group is only getting bigger.

I genuinely think the impact of C.V. means previous targets for this season are no longer realistic, we just need to stay competitive. Previously staying competitive meant fighting for the title. Right now, the position the club is in, it means fighting for the top four. Leicester are also in that fight, which is why that's a big game.

Leicester is considered a big game imo because it decides the fate of the manager. They are improving and we have regressed massively and are playing with zero confidence. Personally, the performances of late are the worst of its kind. RA has backed Lampard the best he could and has given him time, previous manager's would have been sacked long ago.

Well put shak mate
The only reason we won yesterday was they had a man sent off
They were doing us on the counterattack time and time again.

Exactly Gola. I think 11v11 we were in trouble there. Many players out there are lacking belief and confidence. I get the feeling a few ain't playing for the manager and don't believe in his tactics anymore.

Jimbo your post surprises me? All games are big games in the PL, that is its attractiveness. All the teams get millions of pounds to buy international players, Leicester away is a tough game. Be humble Jimbo, be respectful of all opponents, anything other than that lies the road to ruin.
