a question for all posters/ any of the eds.
what do people genuinely think of Abraham?
i've always thought he was maybe a bench or rotation player long term at best yet his scoring record really surprised me, he's got lots of goals everywhere he's played and if he worked on areas of his play part of me thinks he could go on to be a very handy striker.

Works very hard for the team but for me he doesn’t have the natural sixth sense that all great strikers seem to have.
I would guess his goals to chances ratio is very poor but I’ve never checked.
I think he can show more improvement and I prefer him over Giroud but I can well understand why some fans prefer Giroud.

Sorry to say I don’t think he will ever be a top class striker. He needs six chances to hit the net. He never performs against top teams or in big games-he is a flat track bully.

I've always maintained that his not good enough for us.
I don't blame his mentality which is fantastic. I admire his hunger and I believe some others in the squad would go along way with his drive and passion. Unfortunately his skill set doesn't suit us.

He's a good option B, will score between 10 and 20 goals a season but his all round play needs some work. If he's happy with a bit part role at Chelsea then I'm very happy to have him, I always say Spurs would have loved to have him backing up Kane for the past few seasons. But, if he wants to be the main man he'll likely have to go down a level elsewhere.

Good striker but not a great striker. Would be a very good rotation option I just don’t think he’ll be happy with that role.

He is young and still finding his foot in the PL, but I think he has many areas that he could work on and improve.
I think he is going to be a decent striker, no matter where he plays.

I think Tammy has limitations BUT scores goals is adapted to the PL cares about the club and generally seems a confident character.
Finding a better option in the summer will not be easy and if it's from abroad who knows if they will be capable of adapting to the PL.
