When's the next international break? Think that'll be when we part ways, give someone few weeks to come In get to know the place.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure about that Matt.

If they are going to make a change it should be sooner rather than later but if it is to happen, I think it will be at the end of the season.

The club can then review the season knowing that if they want a change it can be done with the offer of a long term contract.

Loads rumours saying we don’t want an interim and will have to wait for naglesmann?

21 Jan 2021 20:01:49
For me Matt, if we are going to make a change that would be the time to do it.

Naglesmann seems to be the name on everyone’s Lips and obviously whoever our manager is he get my 100% support but let’s all understand a change does NOT guarantee success.

We don’t know but a change COULD also mean a slow on the introduction of academy players. On the other hand it could mean our young players progress better under a fresh coach.

The board/ Roman will have difficult choices to make IMO.

I don't think the long term replacement will be until the end of season if needed
I think there could be interim if needed
If a long term replacement came in now and didn't get top 4 it would be seen as let's say not a goos start which wouldn't be ideal even though they would be starting on the back foot
And not having a go Tom just saying I couldn't care less if academy players come through if we are to remain at the top and roman has to buy from all over the world so be that academy stuff just saves money and if I'm not spending knock yourself out Mr abramovic
The most successful times we have ever had had 1 academy player in it that'll do me
That get the local young hero idealologyvi i think is dead as a lot of academy players are foreign which is great and not my point
I just think that old local hero thing is gone sadly the kid you could relate to the one from your area was a great thing no longer with us as most are millionaires b4 they get to first team and I can't relate to that lol
Anyway good win against Luton to talk about something positive and not the manager for a change.

I’m not sure but I don’t think I made reference to any poster but I will address the points you make about introducing academy players.

Obviously your entitled to not care about bringing our young academy talent into the first team but by all counts that was the task set for Lamps.

Most fans were crying out for this to happen. The hope was this would also bring success and in his first season as manager Lamps by general agreement did better than expected by gaining a Champions League spot.

My guess is Lamps will be with us beyond early February but the only man who really knows is Roman and in the end it will be him who decides if the so called plan is working or if he wants to continue with it.

Quite a risk to bring in someone without EPL management experience now with a C.V. affected fixture list and bo time to work with players, especially if they have had nonprior experience of managing in this league. Nagelsman may be brilliant but still very young and so quite a gamble even in the summer.?

I agree JBS.

Sorry gola I didn’t respond to your last comment about the Luton game.

YES, a good result would be nice and I guess I’m a bit like you, very bored with all the Lamps noise.

COME on MY MIGHTY BLUES.
