CHO, Dave and Kova good, so was Pulisic when eventually brought on with Mount - both far too late for supposedly astute tactical manager. Reckon that was one of the dullest CFC game in last 18 months or so and Frank would have been crucified for it by some on here. Clearly the new manager needs to be given some time - which we don't have re top 4 hopes - to show us he can improve not just results but performance. But anything other than a win against Burnley with more adventurous play and nrw manager bounce may look as though its flopped.

JBS. Why give him time? His team selection for a home game v Wolves was awful. His tactics there-in followed as did the result. Chelsea FC are supposed to be an elite CL team, Wolves are a PL team. The truth of the matter is this guy Tuchel will do nothing. What should have happened is, RA should have met with Lamps not the board, listened to him, backed him and purchased Rice. He should then have went into the board room and sacked the recruitment department including Marina.
Let me give you a scenario. When Steven Gerrard becomes boss of LFC, that club will move everything to ensure that he is a success, they would but him 11 players if need be. The Chelsea board couldn’t buy Frank the one player of his choice, the one player that would change the whole scene at SB. The club is going nowhere this season. Get used to it more if the rubbish we watched tonight.

JBS, as I kept on saying changing manager is no guarantee of success but we have to hope it all works out.
It’s his first game and we will stuff Burnley after that the judgements will start and although it will be unfair as TT will have virtually no time to work with players between games, it’s the way life is in football.

Earth calling gola. I have no reason to doubt Ed01 about Lamps being offered help. My guess is Lamps took the view that if help came in and we then went on a winning run all the credit goes the mentor. Or it could be another reason altogether.
Whatever the reason, he got the sack and the debate is over! Let’s all move on.

Gianfranco. Lamps didn’t need “helpâ€. The boy wanted one player. Not a vanity player, a needed player, a hard tackling fit athletic holding midfielder who can run. Now let’s get this straight. Tuchel will achieve nothing at Chelsea. and more importantly the connection between fans and club is broken. The board have acted while the fan base is not in the stadium.
